Birds of many Shapes and Sizes

As you may have guessed from the title, Flights of Wonder Animal Kingdom is going to introduce you to the dazzling world of exotic birds. Whether you have an interest in the Bird Kingdom or not, I promise you, if you go to the Flights of Wonder, you will be astounded by what these flying animals have been trained to do throughout the show.

Real bird lovers

If on the other hand, you are a true bird lover, one who breaks out the binoculars to see all of the birds around you wherever you may go, you might think that you have died and ended up in Bird Heaven. So many colors, so many exotic features these animals have. How in the world did they get them to perform in such a way? Even if you love these winged creatures, you will leave remembering all of the incredible experiences you had during the Show at Flights of Wonder Animal Kingdom.

Relax in the shade

Animal Kingdom Flights of Wonder gives you a marvelous opportunity to relax. The shady canopy area is going to have you surrounded by tall trees, and so many different species of exotic birds, you won’t be able to look away. On top of seeing the birds in the show, you will also be entertained by the actors showing off the different bird acts. This is a kid’s favorite because a couple will always be chosen from the crowd to help out with the show. Make sure you have your camera ready if your child is the one to be selected.

Where is the Flights of Wonder Show?

The Incredible Exotic Bird Flights of Wonder Animal Kingdom Show is located in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom, just past the Asia bridge. As you are walking through the middle of the Park, you will see the “Tree of Life” where the “It’s Tough to be a Bug” is performed. Take a right at the Tree and head over the bridge. The Flights of Wonder stage is located just to your left after you cross.

What is the show like?

If you find it impossible to identify the various species of birds that make up Flights of Wonder Disney Animal Kingdom, don’t worry. Your trainer (Guano Joe or Guano Jane) will give you the inside scoop on all the particulars and bits of trivia that come with the birds who make up this sanctuary. You’re going to find things absolutely tranquil, as Joe or Jane tells you everything you could ever want to know about these birds.

Some of the birds you’re likely to come across in the sanctuary includes Blue and Gold Macaws, African Grey Parrots, Harris Hawks, Trumpeter Hornbills, Great Horned Owls, Rose Breasted Cockatoos, and so much more. Over the course of the show with your trainer, these birds (and others) are likely to show off some of their brilliant feathers and behavioral characteristics (not to mention a few neat tricks). However, Flights of Wonder Animal Kingdom is also designed to allow the birds to do as they please. That’s why this is such a popular aspect to the park. It feels as though you’ve stumbled upon a paradise that’s filled with birds. It doesn’t feel like the same old kind of show.

The Message of the Animal Kingdom Flights of Wonder Show

You’ll also be able to hear conservation stories at Flights of Wonder Animal Kingdom at Disney World. You’ll learn that some of these birds are in substantial danger of being wiped off the face of the planet, and what you can do to make things better for not only the birds, but for ourselves, as well. That’s what you’re getting with this oasis.
