Resort Day Attractions
When you come to Discovery Cove, it is like visiting one of the nicest resorts you could ever imagine but at this resort you get all of the perks of being involved in a SeaWorld Park. There are a couple of different packages to choose from, the Day Resort Package at Discovery Cove or the Day Resort Package at Discovery Cove Dolphin Swim. They are identical packages with the only difference being the added attraction of a 30-minute one-on-one experience with the dolphins in the second package. Since both of these packages give you unlimited 14 consecutive days at both SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando it is really not that expensive when you think about it. So let’s take a look at some of the things you get when you visit this marvelous SeaWorld location. Both packages include the Free Flight Aviary where you will become great friends with many different types of birds while even getting a chance to feed them while they are perched on your shoulder. One of the most beautiful areas would have to be the Grand Reef®. The reef is a great snorkeling adventure where you get to swim with much colorful fish and also have an opportunity to reach out and touch Sting Rays as they swim along with you. The Wind-away River is a slow floating river that takes you through an underwater cave, along the path of cascading waterfalls and the beauty of a sandy beach. It is much more than what you will find at any Lazy River attraction at other water parks. This day is supposed to surprise and rejuvenate all who come and it is something that you will discuss for many years to come.

Are you looking for more? Was the time with the Dolphins a nice start but do you really wish you could have spent more time or learned more about these gentle creatures? Well, you are in luck because Discovery Cove does have an optional plan that allows you to become a Trainer for the Day. If this sounds too good to pass up, it might be the perfect adventure for you. In this adventure not only do you get the 30-minute dolphin interaction but you get to see behind the scenes how Discovery Cove actually works. Not only that but you get to shadow your very own personal trainer throughout the day to see what they do on a daily basis to keep everything running and keep all of the animals happy.
Discovery Cove Cabana Rentals
This is the only additional fee you could have when entering the park. The Cabana’s do not come with the cost of regular admission and must be purchased separately. Each Cabana is large enough and has seating for up to 6 people. You will have to determine if this is worth it to you for your stay. If you plan to be lounging around for most of your visit, it could be well worth the additional cost. If you are going to be on the go and spending most of your time in the water, this might not be the best option for you.
