Your imagination can run wild when you enter the captivating world that Islands of Adventure Orlando Fl presents to you as you step foot in this enchanting place. From the very minute that you walk across the bridge from City Walk and start to enter the ticket area, the scenery changes and you start to hear the sounds of the most intriguing music in the background. This music helps to set the tone for what you are about to see when you first enter the park. You are not consumed by rides and attractions at first glance, you are in a more welcome location to visit the village shops and maybe grab a small bite to eat before you start off on your thrilling day. As you make your way through the Port of Entry you will come to a board lit with all of the ride times and information you need to start planning your day. There are a total of 7 sections, or islands, to the Orlando Universal Islands of Adventure Theme Park, The Port of Entry, Marvel Super Hero Land, Jurassic Park, Seuss Landing, Toon Lagoon, The Lost Continent, and of course The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When the park first opened back in 1999 it of course did not have the Harry Potter section. This new expansion of the park has given a new life to an already wonderful park experience. So much so, that it is continuing to expand this magical world across both of the Universal Parks. The future looks bright for the Universal Theme Parks indeed.

Best Shows at Islands of Adventure
There is one main show at Islands of Adventure but there are also some hidden gems that very few know about. The most elaborate show would have to be The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad Stunt Show. This is almost a full play walking through the adventures of Sinbad showing his devotion to the one he loves. There are great battles and pyrotechnic events to keep everyone on the edge of their seat during the performance. This great family show can be viewed in The Lost Continent section of the park. There is plenty of seating for the show but you will want to check the schedule for showtimes and arrive early to get the best seats in the house. As you are waiting, you will want to take some time to visit the magical fountain in front of the gates at the show. The fountain comes alive to talk to passers-by. It is a lot of fun and the kids will sit back and be amazed as it talks directly to them. In the same area, there is a hidden magic show that you will not always notice. It is in the middle of the square and it is by invitation only. It is a short show but it is very fun to watch all of the magic tricks. The goal is to get you to buy something at the end but you can just walk out in amazement if you would like.
Transportation to Islands of Adventure
If you happen to be staying at any of the Universal Resorts you will have many options for transportation to and from the parks. Some of these locations will offer water taxis and are a fun way to get around. The kids love this method because they think it is a ride in itself. If you are up to walking, all of these properties have beautiful paths to get you around as well. If you decide to drive, just be aware that there are parking fees you will have to contend with.
